Seaman with three points to lead the Wheat Kings over the Pats 7-4

REGINA - Tyrel Seaman scored twice and setup one more as the Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the host Regina Pats 7-4 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Alessio Bertaggia and Jason Swyripa each had a goal and two assists for the Wheat Kings (2-0-0) and Daniel Asham had a goal and an assist.

Tim McGauley and Nick Buonassisi each scored once while Ryan Pulock chipped in with three assists.

Adam Brooks, Cole Hamblin, Trent Ouellette and Dyson Stevenson all scored for the Pats (0-2-0).

Corbin Boes stopped 19 shots for the win as Matt Hewitt allowed five goals on 22 shots through 40 minutes of play.

Teagan Sacher replaced Hewitt for the third period and stopped 10-of-11 shots.

Brandon went 2 for 7 on the power play while regina went 2 for 6.
