Veteran forward Cameron Brace is taking charge of the offence for his Owen Sound Attack.
The 19-year-old scored once and setup two more as Owen Sound defeated the visiting Saginaw Spirit 5-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Brace also had a three-point performance in his club's season opener, a 6-1 victory over the Windsor Spitfires, and now has three goals and six points in the first two games of the season.
Garret Ross led the Spirit (0-1-1) offensively with a goal and an assist and Vincent Trockeck scored the other.
Owen Sound goaltender Jordan Binnington stopped 27-of-29 shots for the win while at the other end Jake Patterson made 24 saves in a losing effort.
Owen Sound went 1 for 7 on the power play while Saginaw scored twice on nine chances with the man advantage.
Elsewhere in the OHL, it was: Belleville 3, Plymouth 2 (SO); Windsor 3, Sault Ste. Marie 2 and Peterborough 4, Ottawa 3.
At Owen Sound, Ont., Hope opened the scoring 4:33 into the first period and Gabriel added another at 11:38 to give the Attack an early 2-0 lead.
Trockeck scored a power-play goal at 18:59 to make it 2-1 Owen Sound after 20 minutes of play.
The Attack dominated the second period with three straight goals to make it 5-1 heading into the final period.
Brace scored on the power play at 5:12, Cook at 10:03 and finally Catenacci at 13:16.
Ross added a power-play goal for Saginaw at 11:40 of the third period.

At Plymouth, Mich., Joseph Cramarossa scored the winner in the shootout and Malcolm Subban stopped 33 shots in regulation, and three more in the shootout, as Belleville (2-0-0) edged the Whalers (0-0-2).
