PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Malcolm Subban stopped 33 of 35 shots in regulation and then all three shooters in the shootout as the Belleville Bulls edged the host Plymouth Whalers 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Joseph Cramarossa scored the winning goal in the shootout for the Bulls (2-0-0) while Austen Brassard and Carter Sandlak each scored in regulation.

Jordan Subban chipped in with two assists.

Stefan Noesen and Ryan Hartman scored for the Whalers (0-0-2), who were coming off a 6-5 overtime loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Friday.

Plymouth goaltender Matt Mahalak stopped 28 shots in a losing effort.

Neither club could score on the power play as the Belleville went 0 for 4 and Plymouth 0 for 2.

Playing for my favorite team growing up, I've probably scored that goal a million times in my driveway. It feels good to actually do it in real life.
