MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Ty Rimmer turned aside 36 shots as the Lethbridge Hurricanes defeated the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Sam Mckechnie, Brady Ramsay, Jamal Watson and Jamien Yakubowski each scored for the Hurricanes (1-0-0).
Jayden Hart had a goal and an assist for the Tigers (0-0-1) while Kale Kessy added a single goal.
Marek Langhamer stopped 18 shots in a losing effort.
Lethbridge went 1 for 6 on the power play as Medicine Hat scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
