Subban stops 27 shots as the Bulls down the Sting 3-1

SARNIA, Ont. - Malcolm Subban stopped 27 of 28 shots as the Belleville Bulls defeated the host Sarnia Sting 3-1 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Michael Curtis, Austen Brassard and Joseph Cramarossa each scored for the Bulls (1-0-0) while Brendan Gaunce chipped in with two assists.

Jack Kuzmyk scored the lone goal for the Sting (0-1-0) and Alex Galchenyuk picked up an assist.

Goaltender JP Anderson made 24 saves in a losing effort for Sarnia.

Belleville went 2 for 4 on the power play while Sarnia failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
