Ehrhoff signs with DEL's Krefeld Penguins
Buffalo defenseman Christian Ehrhoff has signed with the Krefeld Penguins of the Deutsch Eishockey Liga League in Germany.

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Christian Ehrhoff has signed with the Krefeld Penguins of the Deutsch Eishockey Liga League in Germany.

Ehrhoff, 30, is in the second year of a 10-year, $40 million deal with the Sabres. He had five goals and 32 points during the 2011-12 season

The defenseman is expected to practice with the Penguins on Tuesday and could play Friday. Ehrhoff last played for Krefeld in 2003, helping the club win the German championship.
