Jets send Burmistrov to AHL, Scheifele to juniors
The Jets assigned 13 players, including 2010 first-round pick Alexander Burmistrov, to their AHL affiliate, the St. John's IceCaps.

The Winnipeg Jets on Saturday assigned 13 players, including 2010 first-round pick Alexander Burmistrov, to their American Hockey League affiliate, the St. John's IceCaps.

In addition, the Jets sent 2011 first-rounder Mark Scheifele back to his junior team, the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League.

In addition to Burmistrov, the Jets sent Chris Carrozzi, Ben Chairot, Patrice Cormier, Jason Gregoire, Carl Klingberg, Julian Melchiori, Eric O’Dell, Will O’Neill, Edward Pasquale, Zach Redmond, Cody Sol and Ivan Telegin to St. John's.
