The Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday sent 18 players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, including top-six forward Brett Connolly.

The Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday sent 18 players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch, including top-six forward Brett Connolly.

Connolly, the sixth pick of the 2010 NHL Draft, had four goals and 11 assists in 68 games last season, his first in the League.

Also sent to Syracuse were forwards J.T. Brown, Cory Conacher, Danick Gauthier, Alex Hutchings, Tyler Johnson, Alexander Killorn, Vladislav Namestnikov, Ondrej Palat and Richard Panik; defensemen Mark Barberio, Radko Gudas, Dmitry Korobov, Charles Landry, Dan Milan; and goalies Riku Helenius, Pat Nagle and Dustin Tokarski.
