USA Hockey announces All-American team rosters
USA Hockey on Wednesday announced the division of players that will comprise the inaugural CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game on Sept. 29 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo.

USA Hockey on Wednesday announced the division of players that will comprise the inaugural CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game on Sept. 29 at First Niagara Center in Buffalo.

Currently, seven of the 40 participating players in the game are listed on NHL Central Scouting's "A List" for the 2013 NHL Draft in Newark, N.J. That group, deemed worthy of first-round consideration, includes defensemen Mike Downing of the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints, Seth Jones of the WHL's Portland Winterhawks and Ian McCoshen of the USHL's Waterloo Black Hawks and forwards J.T. Compher of the USHL's National Team Development Program, Ryan Hartman of the OHL's Plymouth Whalers and Luke Johnson and Ross Olsson of the USHL's Lincoln Stars.

Former Buffalo Sabres defenseman Phil Housley and forward Rob McClanahan will each coach a team in the event. Team Housley will wear blue uniforms and Team McClanahan will wear white jerseys.
