Panthers' home arena now BB&T Center

The home of the Florida Panthers received a new name Monday, with the arena in Sunrise, Fla., now called the BB&T Center. The building had been known since 2005 as the BankAtlantic Center.

The arena opened in 1998 to serve as the home of the Panthers, replacing Miami Arena.
