WINNIPEG - The Winnipeg Jets re-signed forward Ben Maxwell and goaltender Mark Dekanich on Friday.

Maxwell, 24, posted one goal and four assists in nine games with the Jets last season. He spent most of the campaign with the team's American Hockey League affiliate, the St. John's IceCaps. The six-foot, 195-pound North Vancouver, B.C., native has played 47 career NHL games with Montreal, Atlanta, Winnipeg and Anaheim.

Dekanich, 26 and also from North Vancouver, has played 127 career AHL games with the Springfield Falcons and the Milwaukee Admirals. He made his only NHL appearance with the Nashville Predators in 2010.
