Sidney Crosby is officially a Pittsburgh Penguin for the foreseeable future.
Crosby, 24, agreed to terms with the Penguins on Thursday on a 12-year, $104.4 million deal. Sunday it became official, as Crosby inked his name on the dotted line.
Under the NHL Collective Bargaining Agreement, the new deal couldn't be signed until July 1 at noon. The new contract will start in the 2013-14 season and run through 2024-25.
