NHL Network, NHL.com, and NHL Social will provide comprehensive coverage of the 2012 NHL Awards Wednesday.

NEW YORK -- As the 2011-12 NHL season wraps up, NHL Network™, NHL.com, and NHL Social™ will provide comprehensive coverage of the 2012 NHL Awards™ taking place at the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas.

Beginning Wednesday, June 20, at 4:00 p.m., ET, NHL Network hosts Kathryn Tappen, Kevin Weekes, Barry Melrose, and Heidi Androl will be live from the red carpet inside the Wynn Las Vegas Resort as the NHL® stars, presenters, and guests gather for the 2012 NHL Awards™. They will have a complete review of the award nominees, including making experts picks for winners, and live interviews with the finalists and celebrity presenters as they make their way into the Encore Theater. Celebrities from music, stage and screen are scheduled to serve as presenters to honor the sport's best, including Ray Liotta, Vince Vaughn, Eric Stonestreet, Cheryl Burke, Kevin Connolly, Matthew Perry, Michael Vartan, and Joshua Jackson.

As the red carpet streams live on NHL.com, fans can also follow the event via live blog on NHL.com's dedicated Awards microsite. Additional on-site coverage will include exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, including interviews with award winners and musical guests.

Fans that follow @NHL on Twitter and Instagram will get up to the minute coverage of the event. Kevin Weekes will be answering questions from fans that use the hashtag #AskWeekes.

Congratulatory fan tweets will also be featured on the bottom of the screen throughout the show.

The 2012 NHL Awards will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network in the United States and online at cbcsports.ca in Canada. CBC-TV will carry the complete two-hour celebration nationally starting at 8:00 p.m. local / 8:30 p.m. NT.

The 2012 NHL Awards recap show will air live immediately following the conclusion of the awards show on NHL Network. The show will wrap up the night's events -- hearing from the winners, present highlights from the show, and show the celebrations from the post party, which will be streamed live on NHL.com.
