Restricted free agent Chris Stewart on Thursday signed a one-year contract reportedly worth $3 million with the St. Louis Blues.

The 24-year-old forward had 15 goals and 15 assists in 79 games this season for the Blues. It was a disappointing campaign for Stewart, who scored 28 goals in each of the prior two seasons.

Stewart was acquired by the Blues in February 2011 along with Kevin Shattenkirk and a conditional 2011 second-round draft pick (Ty Rattie) from Colorado in exchange for Erik Johnson, Jay McClement and a conditional 2011 first-round draft pick (Duncan Siemans).

The Blues have two other RFAs: forwards T. J. Oshie and David Perron.
