St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong issued the following statement Monday regarding Russian forward and 2010 Blues draft pick Vladimir Tarasenko.

"There have been inaccurate reports stating that Vladimir Tarasenko has signed a contract to play hockey in Russia. We will have no further comment on this matter."
