SAGINAW, Mich. - Brandon Saad scored twice and added an assist as the Saginaw Spirit defeated the visiting London Knights 5-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.
Vincent Trocheck had a goal and two assists for the Spirit, Garret Ross had a goal and an assist while Brandon Archibald scored a single goal.
Michael Fine also chipped in with two assists for Saginaw.
The power play was a major factor for both clubs as Saginaw went 3 for 12 with the man advantage and London scored twice on six opportunities with the extra man.
The series is now tied 1-1 with Game 3 scheduled for Monday in London at the John Labatt Centre.
