2012 Stanley Cup Playoff matchups determined
An updated look at the playoff picture as individiual games finish on Saturday, the final day of the regular season.
The match-ups for the eight Conference Quarter-Final series of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs are set, having hinged on the 1,230th and final game of the regular-season schedule for the second consecutive year.

The San Jose Sharks defeated the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 in overtime to clinch the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, dropping the Kings to the No. 8 seed. The game capped a frenetic final day with all 30 NHL clubs in action over 12 hours, during which the Presidents' Trophy, two division titles, one conference title, seven of eight playoff match-ups and 11 of 16 playoff seeds were determined.

The match-ups for the Conference Quarter-Final round of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs are:

Eastern Conference

Series 'A' 1 NY Rangers vs 8 OTTAWA
Series 'B' 2 Boston vs 7 WASHINGTON
Series 'C' 3 Florida vs 6 New JerseY
Series 'D' 4 Pittsburgh vs 5 Philadelphia

Western Conference

Series 'F' 2 St. Louis vs 7 SAN JOSE
Series 'G' 3 PhoeniX vs 6 CHICAGO
Series 'H' 4 NASHVILLE vs 5 DETROIT
