Wild's Prosser to face hearing
Minnesota Wild defenseman Nate Prosser will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety Friday for a head-butting incident.

Minnesota Wild defensemean Nate Prosser will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player safety Friday afternoon following an incident in Thursday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.

At 18:19 of the first period, Prosser was assessed a five-minute major for head-butting Chicago's Jamal Mayers. He also received a game misconduct. Minnesota won the game, 2-1, in a shootout.

Quote of the Day

I spent a long summer thinking about that playoff series and what could have been. [The Blackhawks] ended up being the Stanley Cup champions, so we know we lost to a very good team. It's tough to know how close we were, and it motivates us for this year.
