Toronto goaltender Jonas Gustavsson had to be helped off the ice after being injured during warmups before the Leafs' game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night.
Gustavsson went down after being hit on the inside of the left leg by teammate Clarke MacArthur's shot. He seemed to turn aside the shot cleanly, but as he popped up from a crouch-like stance, he immediately fell to the ice and lay there until being helped off the ice by two members of the training staff.
He was favoring the leg as he limped to the dressing room, where he received treatment. Gustavsson was back on the bench for the start of the second period.
