Another year, another first-round playoff exit for the Everett Silvertips.
Zach Yuen scored 18:53 into overtime, and the Tri-City Americans completed a four-game sweep of the Silvertips with a 4-3 victory Wednesday night in their Western Hockey League first-round playoff series.
The Americans kept tired Silvertips skaters on the ice as they worked the puck around, eventually finding Yuen at the top of the left circle. His one-timer found the top corner to end the series.
