NEW YORK -- Phoenix Coyotes forward Alexandre Bolduc has been fined $2,500, the maximum allowed under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for slew-footing San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe during NHL Game #1126 in San Jose on Saturday, March 24, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 6:41 of the second period. A minor penalty for hooking was assessed on the play.
The fine money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
Well, for me this one's concerning, the way we performed. Because three games in, playing a desperate team on the road, I was expecting something else than this. Right now, I'm just disappointed. The other games, I thought we did some things that you can build off your game. There wasn't a lot accomplished in tonight's game.
