The action gets under way at 1 p.m. ET in Boston, where the Bruins will try to end a four-game losing streak when they host Philadelphia. The B's are back at TD Garden after a 6-2 loss at Florida on Thursday, a game that ended a half-hour or so after the Flyers finished winning 3-2 on Long Island.

Also at 1 p.m. ET, Pittsburgh tries to extend its winning streak to 11 games when it visits New Jersey. An hour later, Carolina visits Minnesota.

The second half of the NHL Network doubleheader begins at 7 when Toronto visits Ottawa. Canadian viewers can also see the game on CBC's "Hockey Night in Canada." Also at 7, Colorado visits the New York Rangers, St. Louis visits Tampa Bay and the Islanders are at Montreal in a game that can be seen in Canada on RDS and regionally on CBC.

A half-hour later, Florida tries to complete a perfect four-game homestand when Buffalo comes to BankAtlantic Center.

The second half of the weekly "Hockey Night in Canada" doubleheader gets under way at 10 p.m. ET when Columbus visits Vancouver. Two more games get under way at 10:30: Detroit completes a road trip in San Jose and Nashville visits Los Angeles.
