The Dallas Stars have activated captain Brenden Morrow from injured reserve. Morrow was placed on IR Feb. 3 with an upper-body injury. Coach Glen Gulutzan said Friday that Morrow is questionable for Saturday’s home game against Anaheim.
Morrow, 32, has missed the past 18 games with his injury. The Carlyle, Sask., native has appeared in 43 games this season for the Stars, scoring eight goals and adding 14 assists for 22 points. He is one point away from tying Jere Lehtinen for eighth place on the' Stars franchise scoring list at 514 points.
The Stars enter the weekend in first place in the Pacific Division with 79 points, three ahead of Phoenix and four in front of San Jose.
