On Sunday, Capitals winger Troy Brouwer crunched Philadelphia defenseman Erik Gustafsson with enough impact near the Flyers bench to open their bench door.
In Tuesday's Rangers-Devils game, New York goalie Henrik Lundqvist stopped Devils winger David Clarkson on a takeaway. However, Clarkson recovered the puck, quickly skated around the back of the net and was denied twice by a sprawling Lundqvist stick and glove save.
On Monday, Jets winger Chris Thorburn skated past Sabres defenseman Robyn Regehr and toe dragged an amazing goal past a frozen Ryan Miller.
