NHL Network to air Rangers-Hawks
The Rangers hope to reverse their struggles by beating the team that began them when they faceoff against the Blackhawks on NHL Network on Friday.
The New York Rangers' recent struggles date to Feb. 16, when the floundering Chicago Blackhawks came to Madison Square Garden and ended a nine-game losing streak by winning 4-2.

The Rangers hope to return the favor when they visit Chicago in one of four games on Friday's NHL schedule.

Beginning with the loss to the Hawks, the Rangers have gone just 5-4-2 -- including a 4-1 loss at Ottawa on Thursday that dropped them out of first place in the overall standings. The Hawks enter the game in sixth place in the West, but they're coming off a 5-1 whipping in St. Louis on Tuesday.

The NHL Network will air the game in the United States, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Friday's action begins at 7 p.m., when Florida tries to bounce back from Thursday's 5-0 loss at Philadelphia when it visits Pittsburgh. The Penguins have won seven in a row -- the latest was a 3-2 win against Toronto on Wednesday.

A half-hour later, Los Angeles continues its road trip with a stop in Detroit. The Kings lost 4-2 at Nashville on Thursday; the Wings are home after a 3-2 loss at Philadelphia on Tuesday.

In the final game of the night, Winnipeg visits Calgary in a game that gets under way at 9 p.m. ET. The Jets lost 3-2 in Vancouver on Thursday, while the Flames have been off since Tuesday's 5-4 home win against Montreal.
