Four hours after the 2012 NHL trade deadline passes, one of the best rivalries in the National Hockey League will resume in front of a nationally-televised audience Monday night.

The New York Rangers -- who currently sit atop the Eastern Conference by seven points, will face the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on the NBC Sports Network in the United States and TSN2 in Canada.

New Jersey (35-22-4) will be looking to avoid a three-game skid after suffering a 4-3 loss on home ice against Tampa Bay on Sunday afternoon.

Four other games take place Monday night -- Los Angeles at Nashville (8 p.m. ET); Edmonton at Winnipeg (8:30 p.m. ET); Anaheim at Colorado (9 p.m. ET) and St. Louis at Calgary (9 p.m. ET, TSN in Canada).
Quote of the Day

— Maple Leafs GM Lou Lamoriello on goaltender Jonathan Bernier
