NHL Network doubleheader highlights busy Saturday
The NHL Network will have a day-night doubleheader for American fans as part of another busy Saturday.

The action begins at 1 p.m. ET when the Pittsburgh Penguins travel across Pennsylvania for a meeting with the Philadelphia Flyers. Pittsburgh has had a couple of days off after Wednesday's 2-1 home loss to Anaheim, while the Flyers are coming off a 7-2 home victory against Buffalo on Thursday.

There are two other afternoon games on Saturday's schedule. Chicago wraps up a nine-game road trip with a 1 p.m. ET visit to Columbus, and Minnesota is at St. Louis in a game that starts at 2 p.m. ET.

The second game of the NHL Network doubleheader gets under way at 7 p.m. ET, as the Toronto Maple Leafs complete a trip to Western Canada with a visit to Vancouver. Both teams are coming off wins on Wednesday night -- Toronto won 4-3 in overtime at Edmonton, while the Canucks beat Colorado 3-1 at Rogers Arena.

The game can also be seen on CBC as the first half of the "Hockey Night in Canada" doubleheader.

Also at 7, Carolina visits the New York Islanders and Washington is at Tampa Bay.

An hour later, Dallas travels to Phoenix, where the Coyotes are back home after Thursday's 1-0 win in Los Angeles. The Stars also won Thursday, beating Calgary 3-2 in overtime.

The Flames continue a brief road trip when they travel to Los Angeles for a 10 p.m. ET contest that is the second half of the "Hockey Night in Canada" doubleheader.
