Can the Detroit Red Wings keep on rolling at home?
The Wings bring an 18-game winning streak at Joe Louis Arena into their game against Anaheim, one of four on Friday's NHL schedule. The Ducks were the first victim in the streak, back on Nov. 5, and the Wings have kept on winning at the Joe -- they're now just two victories shy of the League record for consecutive wins at home after beating Edmonton 4-2 on Wednesday. The Ducks are starting an eight-game road trip.
The NHL Network will air the game to viewers in both the United States and Canada, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Also at 7:30, Dallas tries to make it two wins in two nights when it comes to Buffalo. The Stars won 4-2 on Thursday in Columbus while the Sabres had the night off following Wednesday's 6-0 demolition of Boston.
At 9 p.m. ET, Carolina tries to bounce back from Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss in Anaheim when it visits Colorado, which has been off since beating Chicago 5-2 on Tuesday.
The Hawks continue their nine-game trip when they visit San Jose in a game that starts at 10:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on the NHL Network in Canada. The Sharks are coming off a 4-3 loss to Calgary on Wednesday.
