With points in seven of their last 10 games, the Tampa Bay Lightning are doing their best to remain in the Eastern Conference playoff race. They'll continue their pursuit Tuesday night in front of a nationally-televised audience.
The Lightning -- who currently find themselves 10 points out of eighth place in the East, will host the Los Angeles Kings at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on the NBC Sports Network in the United States and TSN2 in Canada.
Los Angeles (25-18-10) has also earned points in seven of its last 10 games. However, the Kings will be looking to avoid a three-game losing streak Tuesday night.
Four of 11 games begin at 7 p.m. ET. The New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers resume their rivalry at Madison Square Garden, while the New York Islanders face the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center. Meanwhile, the Florida Panthers battle the Washington Capitals in a Southeast Division showdown, while the Columbus Blue Jackets host the Minnesota Wild.
Also at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators host the St. Louis Blues.
The Nashville Predators, who are just four points out of first place in the Western Conference, take on the Vancouver Canucks at 8 p.m. ET at Bridgestone Arena. The Canucks trail Detroit by just three points in the West.
In the final three games of the evening, the Winnipeg Jets face the Toronto Maple Leafs at the MTS Centre (8:30 p.m. ET), the Dallas Stars host the Phoenix Coyotes (8:30 p.m. ET) and the Chicago Blackhawks face the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center (9 p.m. ET).
