Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane put on a show for the fans at Scotiabank Place on Saturday night, and the fans thanked him the best way they could.

With 47 percent of all votes, Kane was the winner of the Allstate Breakaway Challenge. The victory helped Team Chara close its deficit against Team Alfredsson to 4-3.

Kane donned a Superman cape and a pair of Clark Kent glasses during the event. He also later used a trick puck against St. Louis goalie Brian Elliott -- it fired off several pucks once Kane unleashed a slap shot.

"I was just thinking about it the past day or so," Kane said. "I thought all the shooters did a great job. It's a tough even for us, too, because you don't want to look stupid. I put some things together and lucky enough, I won."
