On Sunday, Capitals superstar winger Alex Ovechkin landed a thunderous body check to Carolina center Tuomo Ruutu knocking him off his skates.

In Sunday's Sharks-Blackhawks game, San Jose goalie Antti Niemi robbed Hawks winger Patrick Kane of an open net goal, set up on a pass from Jonathan Toews, with his glove.

On Thursday, Leafs center Nazem Kadri spun around in front of Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom and hit a puck out of midair to score an amazing goal.
