NBCSP to televise Predators-Rangers on Tuesday
The Rangers have a chance to regain sole possession of first place in the NHL standings in front of a nationally-televised audience.

The New York Rangers have a chance Tuesday night to regain sole possession of first place in the NHL standings. They'll attempt to do so in front of a nationally-televised audience.

The Blueshirts -- who currently find themselves in a three-way tie for first in the League along with St. Louis and Chicago at 60 points each, will also be looking to bounce back from Sunday's loss at Montreal as they host the Nashville Predators at Madison Square Garden. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on NBCSP in the United States and TSN2 in Canada.

Nashville (26-15-4) will be seeking its sixth straight win. The Preds -- who earned a 3-1 victory against the Islanders on Monday afternoon, have gotten back into the Central Division race behind the stellar goaltending of Pekka Rinne.

Six of 11 games Tuesday begin at 7 p.m. ET. The Battle of Ontario resumes as the Ottawa Senators visit the Toronto Maple Leafs. Other games include: Winnipeg at New Jersey, Minnesota at Philadelphia, Carolina at Pittsburgh, Islanders at Washington and Edmonton at Columbus.

Also at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins quickly return to action as they face the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Boston will be looking to go 2-for-2 in the Sunshine State after Monday night's 3-2 shootout win at Florida.

The Dallas Stars, who suffered a 1-0 loss at St. Louis on Monday, will also play their second game in as many nights as they face the Detroit Red Wings at the American Airlines Center. Detroit also played Monday night, as the Wings cruised to a 5-0 win against Buffalo at Joe Louis Arena. Detroit has now won a franchise-record 15 consecutive games on home ice.

In the final two games of the evening, the Vancouver Canucks face the Los Angeles Kings at the Staples Center (10 p.m. ET), while the San Jose Sharks host the Calgary Flames at HP Pavilion at 10:30 p.m. ET.
