NHL.com
After a week of mild temperatures, the 2012 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic will be played in the coldest weather of recent days at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The Weather Channel and weather.com reported the noon pre-game temperature was 41 degrees–basically expected to be the day's high–but felt like 32 degrees with the wind-chill factor.
The weather.com forecast calls for temperatures to drop during the afternoon with increasing cloudiness and winds from the west picking up at 20 to 25 miles per hour. There is a 40 percent chance for snow before 6 p.m.
