KELOWNA, B.C. - Chris Driedger turned aside all 27 shots he faced as the Calgary Hitmen shutout the host Kelowna Rockets 2-0 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action.
Brooks Macek and Alex Gogolev each scored for the Hitmen (19-16-3) while Driedger earned first star of the game in goal.
Jordon Cooke made 33 saves in the loss, the Rockets (14-19-5) third in a row.
Neither team could score on the power play as Calgary went 0 for 5 and Kelowna 0 for 4.
