Viewers across both the United States and Canada will have the opportunity to see first-hand if the St. Louis Blues can remain ahead of the Detroit Red Wings in the Western Conference standings Tuesday night.
St. Louis (21-10-4), which has completely turned things around under new coach Ken Hitchcock, will visit the Red Wings (22-12-1) at Joe Louis Arena. Opening faceoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. and can be seen on VERSUS in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.
Both teams are coming off victories Monday night. St. Louis made it two in a row with a 5-3 win against the Dallas Stars at the Scottrade Center. With the win, the Blues improved to 16-0-0 when they score at least 3 goals in a game.
Detroit, meanwhile, cruised to a 4-1 victory at Nashville. Valtteri Filppula had a pair of goals for the Wings, while Jimmy Howard made 31 saves.
Canadian viewers will also be treated to the showdown between the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators from Scotiabank Place. That game also begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on RDS. Montreal has lost five in a row.
