Sunday, 12.18.2011 / 12:54 AM / Schedule

The Chicago Blackhawks' bid for a fifth consecutive win highlights the NHL's three-game schedule Sunday.

Chicago, which sits atop the Central Division at 20-8-4, will face the Calgary Flames at 7 p.m. ET at the United Center. Ray Emery has been between the pipes for each of the Blackhawks' four straight wins and is now 8-1-2 on the season. Calgary sits in third place in the Northwest Division at 14-14-4 after Friday's 3-2 shootout loss at Florida.

Sunday's action gets under way at 5 p.m. ET, when the Panthers host the Carolina Hurricanes at the BankAtlantic Center.

Also at 7 p.m. ET, the St. Louis Blues will look to bounce back from Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Nashville as they face the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Scottrade Center. Columbus (9-19-4) suffered a 3-2 loss on home ice to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night.
