The Minnesota Wild
bring the best record in the NHL back to the Xcel Energy Center after a five-game road trip. Their reward is to face the team that's right behind them in the Western Conference standings.
The Wild host the Chicago Blackhawks
in one of three games on Wednesday night's schedule after ending a five-game trip with a disappointing 2-1 loss at Winnipeg on Tuesday. The Hawks figure to be well-rested -- they've been off since Sunday's 3-2 overtime win against San Jose.
Viewers in the United States can see the game on VERSUS, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. Canadian viewers can tune in on TSN2.
Also at 7:30, the Boston Bruins
visit Ottawa in a battle of two teams that won on Tuesday. Boston blanked Los Angeles 3-0 at home, while the Senators got an overtime goal by Jared Cowen
to win 3-2 at Buffalo. The game can be seen in Canada on TSN and RDS.
In the only other game, Phoenix visits Anaheim for a 10 p.m. ET start. Both teams have been off since losing on Saturday night -- the Coyotes fell 4-1 to Minnesota at home, while the Ducks are back at the Honda Center after a 3-2 loss at Nashville.
