The Chicago Blackhawks' bid for a third straight win will be televised across the United States and Canada on Monday night.

The Blackhawks (16-8-3), who made it two in a row with Saturday's 5-2 win against the St. Louis Blues, will host the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday at the United Center. Game time is slated for 8 p.m. ET and can be seen on VERSUS in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.

Phoenix (13-9-3) will be looking to avoid a third straight loss. The Coyotes, who are just points out of first place in the Pacific Division, suffered a 4-2 defeat against the Philadelphia Flyers at Jobing.com Arena on Saturday night.

The Phoenix-Chicago showdown is one of five games on the NHL schedule Monday night. Toronto visits the New York Rangers at 7 p.m. ET, while the Boston Bruins visit the Pittsburgh Penguins. Thirty minutes later, the Ottawa Senators host the Tampa Bay Lightning, while the Washington Capitals take on the first-place Florida Panthers at the BankAtlantic Center.
Quote of the Day

That's a really tough thing to play through; when you finally are thrown out there, the game is fast, intense, every single play matters, you've got to find a way to play through that and make smart plays. So it's a huge testament to [Vermette] and some other individuals in our locker room that are putting their own ego, their own wants and needs aside, and are ready for those opportunities when they do come.
