Scotiabank, NHL announce plans to bring 'Fan Fair' to Ottawa for 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend

NEW YORK – Scotiabank, the official bank of the NHL, will serve as the title sponsor of NHL Fan Fair™, the official fan festival for the 2012 NHL® All-Star Weekend, January 26-28, at the Ottawa Convention Centre in downtown Ottawa.Starting today, fans will be able to purchase tickets to the festival online and at various locations throughout Ottawa, including the box office at Scotiabank Place.

As part of Scotiabank's commitment to serving hockey fans of all ages, the 2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair™ will offer three days of family-friendly interactive games and attractions, special appearances, trophy and memorabilia displays, live TV and radio broadcasts, music, food and dozens of other dynamic activities.

2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair™ Ticket Information

Occupying more than 100,000 square feet of the Ottawa Convention Centre, the 2012 Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair™ will be open to the public Thursday, Jan. 26, from 3 p.m. – 10 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Starting today, tickets will be available online at CapitalTickets.ca or via phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or 877-788-3267; and in-person at the Scotiabank Place box office, at The Sens Store at Carlingwood Mall, Place d'Orléans and Les Galeries de Hulland and Ottawa Sports Experts locations.
 
Tickets purchased between Nov. 28 and Jan. 25 will be $10 for adults and children. Tickets purchased after Jan. 25 and at the door to Scotiabank NHL Fan Fair will be $15 per person. The 2012 NHL All-Star Weekend will come to Ottawa, Canada's capital, Jan. 26 through Jan. 29. The 2012 Tim Hortons NHL® All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, Jan. 29 at Scotiabank Place. Live television coverage will be provided by the NBC Sports Network in the U.S. and CBC and RDS in Canada.
