LOS ANGELES (AP) - Pavel Datsyuk had two goals, Niklas Kronwall got the go-ahead score during a power play in the second period, and the Detroit Red Wings snapped a five-game road losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
Jimmy Howard, who gave up four goals on 21 shots Thursday night at San Jose and was pulled after two periods in a 5-2 loss, was back in the nets for Detroit and made 23 saves - one of them on a penalty shot by Anze Kopitar at 11:06 of the second period with Detroit clinging to a 2-1 lead.
Justin Abdelkader also scored and Tomas Holmstrom had two assists for the Red Wings, who avoided what would have been their first six-game road skid since December 1987. Detroit, which had the NHL's second-best road record last season at 26-11-4, posted its first win away from Joe Louis Arena since Johan Franzen beat Minnesota with an power play goal in overtime on Oct. 15.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) - Bryan Little scored twice early in the first period to help Winnipeg beat Philadelphia.

Patrice Bergeron, Nathan Horton, Andrew Ference and Zdeno Chara also scored for Boston (11-7), who has outscored opponents 42-14 during the streak. The Islanders (5-9-3) have lost three of four and 11 of 13 overall. The Bruins have won 14 of 18 games against New York.
Thomas has two shutouts this season and 28 in his NHL career. New York was blanked for the fourth time this season.
CANADIENS 4, RANGERS 0
Price, who was rested for the third time this season in Thursday's road loss to the New York Islanders, extended his shutout streak to 132 minutes, 30 seconds - including a 33-save effort in a 4-0 win over Carolina on Wednesday. It was his 14th NHL regular-season shutout.
Rangers backup Martin Biron lost for the first time four starts. He stopped 27 shots.

Vrbata, who also scored into an empty net, tied it at 2 at 8:35, and Bissonnette connected on a rebound to put Phoenix in front. It was Bissonnette's first goal since Feb. 1 and came with his mother watching her son play live for the first time in his NHL career.
MAPLE LEAFS 7, CAPITALS 1
Phil Kessel added a goal and an assist. He leads the NHL with 14 goals and 27 points.
Matt Frattin scored his first NHL goal, Cody Franson chipped in his first as a member of the Maple Leafs, and Tim Connolly, Tyler Bozak and David Steckel also scored. Toronto (11-7-2) won for the first time in five home games.
DEVILS 4, LIGHTNING 2
Brodeur lost out on a bid to extend his NHL record to 117 shutouts when Martin St. Louis scored from in-close and cut the Lightning's deficit to 3-1 at 8:24 of the third period. Brodeur made 21 saves en route to his NHL-record 629th career win.
Ryan Shannon's first goal in 15 games, which came 90 seconds after St. Louis scored, got Tampa Bay within 3-2.
Tampa Bay had its six-game, home-winning streak snapped.
PANTHERS 3, PENGUINS 2
SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) - Stephen Weiss scored with 3:30 left and Florida beat Pittsburgh for the first time in six meetings.
Florida took its late lead when Weiss poked in the puck between Johnson's legs during a scrum in front of the net.
