Hawks continue trip in Calgary
Chicago is off to a fast start on its annual "Circus Trip, " aiming to make it two-for-two when they visit Calgary in one of three games on Friday.
Chicago is off to a fast start on its annual "Circus Trip" after crushing the Canucks 5-1 in Vancouver on Tuesday. The Hawks will try to make it two-for-two when they visit Calgary in one of three games on Friday's NHL schedule.

The Flames are coming off a 3-1 home loss to Ottawa on Monday night. Game time at Scotiabank Saddledome is 9 p.m. ET.

Friday's action gets under way at 7 p.m. ET when the Carolina Hurricanes visit Buffalo in a matchup of teams coming off losses on Wednesday. The 'Canes lost 4-0 at Montreal, while Buffalo was beaten 5-3 by New Jersey at the First Niagara Center.

Two hours later, the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche get together in Denver. Both teams are coming off shutout losses -- the Stars were routed 6-0 at home by Florida on Tuesday, while the Avs are back home after a 1-0 loss at Minnesota on Thursday.
