A power failure at Honda Center delayed the start of the third period of the game between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks.

The teams were preparing for the start of the third period when the main lightning in the building went out, leaving only the side flash boards to provide illumination. The lights had to be allowed to cool down before the system could be restarted.

The Kings led 2-1 after two periods.
