You Decide: What's been the goal of the year?
What has been the goal of the year?
After seeing Evgeni Malkin and Matt Duchene score unbelievable goals on Tuesday night -- against each other -- NHL.com wants you to vote on the best goal of the year.

Was Malkin's tremendous move through rookie Gabriel Landeskog's legs and then his finish around Semyon Varlamov good enough to be tabbed goal of the year?

Or what about Duchene's ability to catch a pass behind him, put the puck through his legs, and then backhand a shot past Marc-Andre Fleury? Is that the best of the best?

Let's also not forget about three other great goals from earlier this season.

We all remember Stars forward Jamie Benn dangling the puck through four Blue Jackets defenders before beating Steve Mason with a great shot to the top shelf.

Then there was Claude Giroux's goal on opening night against the Bruins. The highly-skilled forward managed to slide the puck by Zdeno Chara using his skates, and then slipped the puck past Tim Thomas as he soared through the air.

Jeff Skinner, last year's Rookie of the Year, also put his name in the goal of the year discussion with his beauty against the Lightning. After working the puck off the boards, Skinner managed to keep the puck on his stick and snake through three defenders before firing a laser past Dwayne Roloson.

There is really no wrong answer here, but we want to know what you think. Vote now to decide which of these amazing goals is the greatest, and feel free to comment on them as well.
