The New Jersey Devils' bid for a third straight victory will be televised nationally Tuesday night.
New Jersey (6-5-1), which is coming off a 3-2 overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday night, will host the Carolina Hurricanes (5-6-3) at the Prudential Center. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on VERSUS in the United States and TSN2 in Canada.
The Hurricanes suffered their second straight loss -- both at home -- on Sunday, when they dropped a 5-2 decision to the Dallas Stars. Carolina has been outscored 10-3 in the two defeats.
Canadian fans will be treated to a second game Tuesday night, as the Montreal Canadiens host the Edmonton Oilers at the Bell Centre. That showdown also begins at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on RDS. Edmonton sits atop the Northwest Division with a record of 8-3-2.
