Oilers' GM Tambellini guests on 'NHL Hour'
Edmonton Oilers general manager Steve Tambellini will be the guest on Thursday's edition of NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman. The show, which encourages fans to call in with questions, airs Thursday nights on NHL.com and on Sirius XM Radio at 6 p.m. ET. 

Heading into their game Thursday night against the Los Angeles Kings, the Oilers lead the Northwest Division and are tied for first in the Western Conference with a 7-2-2 record. This comes one season after the team finished 30th in the League standings. A fast start by No. 1 pick Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, the return of beloved forward Ryan Smyth and a turnaround season by goalie Nikolai Khabibulin have all been key factors in Tambellini's club's fast start.

NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman broadcasts live on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET on NHL.com as well as NHL Home Ice (channel 92 on XM and channel 207 on Sirius Premier -- formerly known as "The Best of XM"). The show will re-air on Sirius XM Radio, with archived shows available for download via podcast on NHL.com.
