Toronto Marlies forward Joey Crabb named AHL player of the week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Toronto Marlies forward Joey Crabb was been named the American Hockey League player of the week Monday.

The 27-year-old scored three goals and added two assists in two games with Toronto (4-1-1) last week to win the award.

Crabb is tied for the team high with 12 points (six goals, six assists) and a plus-6 rating.

He is also tied with Marlies teammate Joe Colborne for second in the AHL in points.
