Fantasy Spin: Lupul catalyst for Leafs' hot start fantasy insider Sergei Feldman tells you how Joffrey Lupul is the catalyst for the Toronto Maple Leafs' hot start.
While he may not be as hot as the Northeast Division leading Toronto Maple Leafs, right wing Joffrey Lupul is pretty close.

SOG: 18 | +/-: 7
Through five games -- in which the Maple Leafs have gone 4-0-1 -- Lupul has amassed four goals, three assists, two power play goals and 18 shots. Moreover, he ranks third in the League in plus-minus with a plus-seven rating.

After a few subpar seasons and a couple of address changes, Lupul has found a home in Toronto and is resembling his old self again. Playing alongside a scoring threat like Phil Kessel has helped the winger rediscover his sniper ways.

Though he's far from a household name, Lupul has quietly scored at least 20 goals three times, including a career-high of 28 in 2005-06.

Fantasy owners would be wise to follow the hot play of the Leafs, as it will likely translate into a great fantasy season for Lupul.
