Tigres forward Yanni Gourde named QMJHL's first star of September

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - Victoriaville Tigres forward Yanni Gourde was named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's first star of the month Tuesday.

Gourde had nine goals and 13 assists with a plus-6 rating for Victoriaville in September.

Acadie-Bathurst Titan forward Zach O'Brien was named second star with nine goals and 11 assists.

Goalie Alex Dubeau of the Shawinigan Cataractes was named third star. Dubeau had five wins and a shutout while posting a 1.96 goals-against average and .933 save percentage.
