RED DEER, Alta. - Adam Kambeitz scored in overtime as the Red Deer Rebels overcame a 3-1 deficit and defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-3 in Western Hockey League action Sunday.
Kambeitz also added a second-period power-play goal for Red Deer (2-0-0), while Colten Mayor and John Persson also counted with the man-advantage for the Rebels.
Josh Lazowski, T.J. Foster and Martin Gernat replied for Edmonton (0-0-1).
Rebels netminder Patrik Bartosak made 24 saves, while Laurent Brossoit stopped 30 shots for the Oil Kings.
