To follow along with the order of the draft, just start with Edmonton Oilers in the first round, scroll down to the Boston Bruins, then scroll back up. The Bruins made the first pick in the second round in this snake draft.
NHL.COM FANTASY RE-DRAFT
Any player who is in italics falls into an area where his cap hit is unknown and we simply took a guess at what it would be if and when he signed this offseason. It's clearly not an exact science, but nothing is perfect. We think the numbers we came up with for these players are pretty fair.
We'll eventually plug these rosters into NHL '12 and have the people at EA Sports simulate the season and playoffs and see who comes out on top.
If you have any questions or comments about this, reply to me on Twitter at @DaveLozo. It should also be noted that all cap hits come courtesy of the website CapGeek.com.

Note: NHL.com's Fantasy Re-Draft was conducted in July and Rick Rypien was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning. Rypien, who passed away on Aug. 15, has been removed from the roster and replaced with Philippe Dupuis.
